Licensed Professional Counselor

Taking that step to begin counseling may seem scary, and that’s okay. I want to help you with your concerns and work towards your goals through change and personal growth. I am here to create a safe space where you can talk about your concerns in a judgment-free environment. My approach to counseling is collaborative as I operate using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and some elements of Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). Through CBT, we will examine how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors all interact with one another, while SFT will examine and embrace your strengths and allow you to identify solutions that fit your life. Each session is conducted specifically and uniquely for you and your needs. As a counselor, I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults with a variety of concerns including, but not limited to, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and stress management.

In my practice, the client plays a big role in their ability to change any concerning thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I believe that self-awareness is also an important part of counseling as it can help achieve your goals. As a counselor, I will help you empower yourself as you work towards growing and evolving into the person that you have set out to be. I value and appreciate everyone that sits with me, and I hope to be a part of your counseling journey!
